N-Channel IGBT
N-Channel IGBT (N-channel Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) is currently the most mainstream power semiconductor switching device, perfectly combining the easy driveability of MOSFET with the high-power processing capability of BJT (Bipolar Junction Transistor). It is the core of modern power electronics technology.

Features:
Voltage drive: extremely high input impedance, minimal driving power, simple circuitry.
Low on-state voltage drop (Vce (sat)): Conductive modulation effect, significantly lower conduction loss compared to MOSFETs of the same class.
High Voltage / High Current: Commercial specifications cover 600V~6.5kV and several A~ several thousand A, suitable for medium to high power scenarios.
Switching speed: Intermediate between MOSFET and GTR, with minority carrier tail current during turn-off.
Dominant Position: 99% of commercial IGBTs are N-channel, with P-channel types rarely used in special topologies.

Typical Applications:
1. New energy vehicles (EV/HEV)
Motor controller inverter: converts the high-voltage DC of the power battery into three-phase AC to drive the main motor (650V/1200V module)
    Car charger (OBC), DC/DC converter.
2. Industrial control
Frequency converter: drives fans, water pumps, and compressors to achieve energy-saving through frequency conversion.
Servo drive, welding machine, switch power supply.
3. New energy power generation
Photovoltaic inverter: Convert photovoltaic panels from DC to AC and connect them to the grid.
Wind power converter: realizing variable speed constant frequency control of doubly fed/direct drive wind turbines.
4. Power transmission and guarantee
High voltage direct current transmission (HVDC) and flexible alternating current transmission (FACTS).
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), Emergency Power Supply (EPS).
5. Consumption and Home Appliances
Variable frequency air conditioning/refrigerator, induction cooker, microwave oven (high-frequency induction heating).
High performance power supply and electric tools.
6. Rail Transit
High speed rail/subway traction converter: DC power grid → traction motor.
