Class D Audio Amplifier is a switch type power amplifier, also commonly referred to as a digital amplifier.
It does not work in the linear amplification region, but converts the audio signal into a square wave through a high-speed switch (PWM modulation), and then filters and restores it to an analog audio driven speaker.
